About Our Client
Our client is building a next-generation on-chain financial ecosystem, merging fintech, DeFi, and AI to develop a new globally scalable financial infrastructure. As they rapidly expand, they are shaping an emerging category powered by a growing community.
They are seeking a Senior PR & Communications Manager to take ownership of their public narrative, media presence, and brand reputation. This role is designed for a strategic communicator who works directly with founders, manages high-level media relations, and operates autonomously across the full communications function.
Role Overview
You will lead and own the entire PR and communications scope — including strategy, messaging, media positioning, and reputation management. You will define how our client is perceived by the public, investors, partners, and their global user community.
Key Responsibilities
Communication & PR Strategy

Build and execute a global PR and communication strategy.

Develop a long-term narrative positioning our client as a category leader.

Advise founders and leadership on risks, opportunities, and priority messaging.
Media Relations

Develop strong relationships with global business, fintech, and Web3 media.

Secure interviews, features, and commentary for leadership.

Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries.
Crisis & Reputation Management

Lead crisis communication strategy and response.
-
Prepare statements, Q&As and escalation plans.

Monitor early-stage risk signals and respond proactively.
Messaging & Narrative Development

Build and maintain the company’s messaging architecture.

Ensure alignment across press, community, product communications, and internal channels.
Content & Executive Communications

Write press releases, messaging frameworks, announcements, and narratives.

Prepare leadership briefing materials, talking points, and speaking notes.

Support founders with communication style and public presence.
Cross-Team Collaboration

Partner with community, marketing, product, and design teams to ensure aligned messaging.

Support online events, livestreams, AMAs, and product launches.
Monitoring, Intelligence & Reporting

Establish systems to track media coverage, sentiment and narrative shifts.

Produce weekly/monthly insights and recommendation reports
Budget & Vendor Ownership

Manage PR budgets, external agencies, and contractors.

Source new tools and partners to scale communication capabilities
Candidate Requirements

5+ years in PR, media, or communications — ideally in fintech/crypto/startups.

Proven track record in securing impactful global media coverage.

Experience leading crisis and reputation management.

Strategic thinker with outstanding writing and narrative skills.

Comfortable operating independently and building systems from scratch.

Confident working closely with founders and senior stakeholders.

Data-driven communication approach leveraging sentiment and media analytics.

Thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment.
